| 2 bushings | Ford engine coolant temperature and oil temperature sensors |
| Straight thread adapter and 45-degree fitting | Ford oil pressure sensor. The 45-degree fitting is optional; see Oil pressure sensor placement. |
Important: Apply thread sealer to the bushings before installing.
Coolant and oil temperature sensors: 1989–2002 Cummins engines
Install the Ford coolant and oil temperature sensors in the ports above and below the thermostat housing, shown by the arrows.
Note: The oil temperature sensor goes into the coolant jacket. This satisfies the Ford electronics.
Coolant and oil temperature sensors: Common Rail Cummins engines
Install both the oil and coolant temperature sensors in the coolant ports on top of the cylinder head. Use either of the ports shown by the arrows.
Note: The oil temperature sensor goes into the coolant jacket. This satisfies the Ford electronics.
Oil pressure sensor: 12-Valve, 24-Valve and Common Rail Cummins engines
The Ford oil pressure fitting replaces the plugged 1/8" threaded port next to the turbo oil feed line on top of the Cummins oil filter housing.
Note: The 45-degree fitting is optional and depends on which port is used on top of the oil filter housing. On some housings the turbo oil feed line and sensor ports are flipped. If needed, install the 45-degree elbow into the oil filter housing first, then add the straight thread adapter. This lets the sensor clear the exhaust manifold.
