  • Oil temperature sensor
  • Oil pressure sensor
  • Engine coolant temperature sensor
  • MAP sensor

EGT sensor locations

There are three exhaust gas temperature sensors in the stock 6.4L Power Stroke exhaust. The arrows show the approximate location of each sensor.

Warning: Each of these sensors must remain plugged into the factory Ford harness for the engine to crank. Without these sensors in the harness, you will trigger the Ford security system (a flashing padlock light on the Ford instrument cluster). Diesel Conversion Specialists offers a 3-pack of replacement EGT sensors if needed.
